Snowmaggedon Continues...

The end is nigh!!! http://www.wnep.com/

Seriously, people, we live in northeast Pennsylvania. It's time for you to wake up and recognize that it snows here - a LOT. Nor'easters - despite what you New York City transplants may have been led to believe - are normal and FREQUENT in this part of PA. Why are people so shocked when we get 18" of snow? I can remember snow storms when I was a kid that were so bad, kids couldn't walk outside or play in it. My mom carried me through 3 feet of snow to our detached garage once when I was 3 years old! Pennsylvanians got soft and spoiled after a 15 year lull of low snow totals (ever heard of a drought? - they happen all year round!) and now they're freaking out that it's snowing like it normally would. In 1993, we had the STORM OF THE CENTURY!!! 3 feet of snow. Pfft! :p Piffle! :p It snows like that here. It's time to pull up your big girl panties, buy a shovel and some hot chocolate, and hunker down. ;)
