Today, while contemplating the new cyber option being offered by my local school district (that fills me with dread because it seems like they're just looking to save money), I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A-ZVCjfWf8
It actually brings me to tears when I think of all the hours children in ths country will spend sitting in a creation-stifling, traditional classroom environment staring at a chalkboard (the height of the year 1801's teaching technology!) while a teacher spends half the school year teaching to the PSSA's or whatever other state-wide assessment is required. :(
